| The bogie is one of the most important components of EMU. In the conventional bogie design, the bogie was selected by designer’s experience, which was most similar to customer’s need. But the bogie case and design experience lack of management result in inefficien in bogie design. Configuration design technology can help designers to cost-efficient product design diversity to meet customer demand. Therefore demand-oriented configuration design technology was introduced to bogie design, based on multi-level case-based reasoning and rule-based configuration design, combing with variant design, parametric design and the redevelop technology of CAD,etc. by reusing bogie cases and design knowledge to achieving bogie design and assembly rapidly. Based on customer’s requirement configuration design technology was researched in this paper, the main research contents are as follows:(1) The configuration model of bogie was established based on the And-Or Graph, and the CAD model, configuration parameters, variant design templates and configuration rules, etc. was add to the configuration model, in order to easy retrieval and reuse cases, and module variant design, achieve bogie configuration design rapidly.(2) As to Matrix can not handle non-linear mapping, ontology establish workload, etc. based on production rules and evaluate expressions expression mapping rules, composition of demand, mapping rules, and configuration parameters into computer calculation program (demand as input parameter, mapping rules as calculation formula and configuration parameters as output parameters),which is compiled and executed by useing C# dynamic and reflection programming techniques,and the demands were mapped to the configuration parameters of the configuration model’s module.(3) The configuration method based on multi-level case-based reasoning and rule-based configuration method was proposed, to improve reusability module case, combined with variant design, parametric design and the redevelop technology of CAD, bogie case stratified modify, and then get a bogie that meet the customer’s needs. The demand-oriented bogie configuration design system was developede based on VS2008 and C# to design bogie rapidly.(4) Based on parametric template and the redevelop technology of CAT1A CAA, driving the main model parameters template of bogie parts, derived new component models that meet the needs fastly and provide new module for the variant design.(5) Aiming at the geometric features of three-dimensional model was used as assembly datum, resulting in lossing or compromiseing assembly datum after the three-dimensional model variant design (modifications, substitutions and deletion model), the parametric skeleton model was introduced into the bogie assembly, avoiding the parts direct correlation between the component models, and achieve correct assembly of the bogie parts’model. |
