Railway retaining engineering as a subsidiary part of the railway subgrade, the defect not only cause the loss of life and property, affect the safety of the entire railway transportation system, but also cause the high cost of governance. Currently, the measures of maintenance and reinforcement for slope treatment project mainly stay at the stage of experience and economic comparison, and the theoretical system is not formed. Based on this, this thesis comprehensively applies the Fuzzy Mathematics, Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making Theory, Numerical Analysis and other disciplinary knowledge, combining the theoretical study with numerical simulation to study certain issues on defect treatment of retaining engineering of existing railway. The content is as follows:1.Taking the study on the slope defect treatment of the whole railway system as a starting point, this thesis studies the retaining engineering defect factors and type of existing railway, analyzes the defect type and its corresponding characteristics of the existing railway retaining structure from the perspectives of strength and stability, and emphatically analyzes the defect classification and its corresponding characteristics of several typical retaining structure in existing railway.2.Taking the partial and integral destroy of the retaining structure as the research object, this thesis summarizes commonly used reinforcement measures for several typical retaining structures in existing railway, proposes the governance processes for existing railway retaining engineering.3.To explore the reasonable reinforcement measures for the defect on retaining engineering of existing railway, based on Triangular Fuzzy Number Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making Theory, paper proposes three simplified analysis models, such as simplifies calculation process, simplifies the comprehensive evaluation of attribute index, and both the comprehensive evaluation of attribute index and calculation process are simplified,then analyzes the practical work to demonstrate the application of this theory in the choice of the reasonable retaining reinforcement scheme of existing railway.4.Combined with practical work, by using the strength reduction finite difference method based on FLAC3D, paper analyzes stability of the reinforcement scheme, which determined by Triangular Fuzzy Number Multiple Attribute Group Decision Making Theory.
