Since China’s reform and opening up, along with the rapid development of our economy, the construction industry has made considerable progress, which contains the rising of output value and the improvement of management level, and the research of construction enterprise project cost management also continues to progress at the same time. However, at the present stage, due to the change of macro and industry environment of the construction industry development, such as the recession on real estate industry, the overcapacity in some industries, the state control of the "class", etc., the development of construction enterprises gradually slows down, the competition among enterprises becomes more intensively, the problems existing in project cost management are also increasingly prominent, all of which lead to the necessity of improving construction enterprises project cost management be strengthened.On the basis of the introduction of construction enterprise project cost management, the author combines the theory and the practice of his own work, in order to elaborate emphatically the significant effect factors of the construction enterprise project cost management, which include the project life cycle theory, the financial budget management theory, and standard cost theory. On the basis of investigation and research, the auther combines the actual situation of the Baye Company and engineering project cost management system, in order to point out the main problems existing in the cost management of Baye Company. In this paper, according to introduce the problems existing in the Baye Company cost management, the author indicates how to optimize the cost of Baye Company’s projects, implement the matching principle of project cost evaluation, strengthen the quality and safety of engineering cost management, implement the responsibility of project cost management, implement of the responsibility to enhance the predictability of project cost. And the author also points out some related cost management measures to improve the incentive to increase efforts. Via the analysis of the cases of Jinchang exhibition center project contracted by Baye Company and Jinchang Municipal People’s Procuratorate integrated services building project, the author uses the project management theory to provide the corresponding reference and suggestions for improvement.
