With needs of the economic modernization development, the grid is expending, the level grid intelligence is increasing and the operation of the system is getting more complex. It is therefore more complicated to control and run the grid safely and steadily. This calls for the development of a platform that can automatically monitor, warn and alarm. This paper had an in-depth study on the specification of the information exchange between the monitoring system module and the application system module of the scheduling grid real-time monitoring, warning and alarming system. Based on this study, the paper designed the grid real-time monitoring, warning and alarming system that operates with the main national automated scheduling system. The system developed in this paper monitors the operating status of the grid and the telemetry and telesignalling information. It can also set the alarm through voice or text message. In the meantime, it provides artificial intelligent speech recognition, which makes instant alarming and remote alarm information searching possible.Implementing this system at the un-manned stations can automatically monitor the system working status, which reduces the work load of the operating and servicing crew and allows the crew to analyze and manage the system faster and more accurately. In addition, the stability, reliability and the robustness is the focus of the system developed in this paper. It enables the whole system to operate safely and steadily, which is the key of the automatic monitoring of the un-manned transformer substation around the clock. The implementation of this system will provide the operation, service and duty crew with an efficient, intelligent and ideal monitoring and management tool.
