Electric connector is an important part of electronic communication device, its performance is directly related to the safety and reliability of the entire system. The connector is affected by sliding, fretting, temperature and other factors during the course. Accelerated simulation method is often used to achieve evaluation of performance in laboratory. The connector life test system, sliding electrical contact test system, fretting electrical contact test system are used to simulate the plug, sliding and fretting quickly as the electrical contact series devices.The software development plays an important role in system functional realization, because the electric contact devices fall in the virtual instrumentation classification. However the efficiency of software development will be reduced when the function, structure and use of the system’s hardware and software resources are not the same. They can cause the difficulties of software upgrade and management. The different interface also can cause the operator’s inconvenience.This paper presents a program developed solution of electrical contact series devices, includes the connector life test system, sliding electrical contact test system, fretting electrical contact test system. Based on a unified graphical programming language Lab View, we can achieve measurement and control functions of these devices. Sum up a unified process of program execution and create different functional modules. These modules are packaged by polymorphism to achieve high cohesion and weak coupling between modules.The response of producer/consumer model is used in the design of the main frame to make an effective management of instruction generations and events responses, fully conserve system resources.This design can avoid the instruction losing and the wrong execution. Program instructions and event responses consist of the hardware self-test, channel selection, parameter setting, the pressure clear and data acquisition, we can create modules by this sections to reuse. Without changing the structure of the program, adding or modifying the modules can effectively realize adding features and program upgrading.General modules and structure of the program are designed to provide development components and framework in creating the program of electrical contact series devices, and they are applied to the actual development process. In the development process of new devices they are also useful.
