The popularity of digital products and the concept of environmental protection leads toan increase in the demand of rechargeable batteries. This paper attempts to apply the methodof Kansei Engineering combining with the relevant theoretical background of consumersvisual cognition. We try to supply theoretic foundation for visual identification of batterybrand using objective and rational deduction. We want to turn enterprise brand image intomore specific design elements through the research mode of Kansei Engineering. We theninspect that put the designs into the simulation scene. Try to show a set of Kansei Engineeringprocesses of the design of the visual identification of battery brands.This paper briefly discusses the importance of brand visual identification characteristicdesign, and the expounds the general situation of the theory of Kansei Engineering. The paperanalyzes the necessity and feasibility of Kansei Engineering in brand visual identificationcharacteristic design. The paper analyzes the design elements of visual identificationcharacteristic of battery that from the visual process, information of packing which includestest, graghs, color and shelf visibility. We collect the samples of battery and then divide thesamples into three types of styles: energy, minimalism, and storage, and try to selectrepresentative samples of types of styles through k-means clustering. This paper records threedifferent types of batteries using the method of eye tracking, making statistical analysis offixation duration and first fixation duration as two indicators when the battery as AOI andlogo as AOI. When the participants saw the C40green, C60green and C80green, analyzedifference from the indicators that is fixation duration, first fixation duration, heat map and soon. The try to select enterprise color of JIUYI Suppo battery brand. This paper uses theresearch platform which called the visual identification design of JIUYI Suppo, and combinethe market research with the above analysis to design battery. Through the Kansei vocabularyclassification build a tool of battey design elements. Participants evaluate battery designsubjectively. Design of sale packing shelf visibility is evaluated by eye tracking.This research breaks through the limitation of the original method which depends on thedesigners’ personal opinions to design the brand visual recognition. It uses the Kansei Engineering method from the customers’ point of view, and combines both the objective andsubjective opinions, which makes the research results more scientific.
