With the development of science and technology, Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) is more and more applied in modern car. Electronic Mechanical Continuously Variable Transmission (EMCVT) is researched in this subject. The unsatisfactory hydraulic system is abandoned, and has great value for study and development space. In order to be able to make EMCVT to exert its function, a control system which makes the car of EMCVT with good operation, driving comfort and having the best economical performance and the best driving performance is developed. According to the variable speed principle and mechanical structure of EMCVT, the control system is to control the motor of speed control and the motor of clutch control.The most simple and effective way which debugs control system of EMCVT is doing the bench test and cat test. But the bench test and car test need long testing cycles, a lot of equipments, high costing, and the field tests are difficult to achieve some extreme conditions. Therefore, in this paper through the research of the hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) theory, the hardware-in-the-loop simulation test platform (HILSP) which is used to debug control system of EMCVT is developed based on field test. It provides a virtual environment for debugging control system, and the early debugging of control system can be accomplished in the laboratory.The thesis project is based on Liaoning province science and technology plan industrial research funded key projects, the name of this project is the key technology research on experiment and control of Continuously Variable Transmission. According to the control system of EMCVT and field tests, firstly mechanical structure of EMCVT is analyzed, and engine model, EMCVT model and automobile load model are established according to the mechanical structure and test data, and the feasibility of the models are confirmed in Matlab/Simulink, the debugging of control system is achieved with mathematic model. Secondly, through the research about the hardware in the loop simulation theory, the hardware in the loop simulation program is written based on LabVIEW. The simulation program and control system can achieve real-time communication, and the program has the debugging function of control system.Finally, the good man-machine interface of hardware in the loop simulation is written, it shows conveniently and clearly the current vehicle test status. And through analyzing the simulation test, the development of hardware in the loop simulation platform can satisfy the requirement of control system, achieving the purposes of early debugging of control system.
