The hospital is a special social public places, which sets patient care, recuperation, rehabilitation functions in one. And the hospital provides services for seven days a week,24hours a day, so it is one of the most complex public buildings. Medical building has a special energy characteristics, and its energy consumption is2to3times as that of other public buildings so expanding the hospital building energy efficiency is imminent. Under ensure the normal development of the hospital to meet the needs of the people and improve the quality of care provided, the application of energy-saving technologies for new buildings, existing buildings for energy saving, reducing building energy consumption and operating costs of medical unreasonable has become an important part of the medical institution building issue. Therefore, studying the energy consumption of medical building, analyzing its energy characteristics and tapping the energy potential of the medical building has very important significance.First, the relevant literature, grasp the development of China’s medical building, medical research building energy supply and energy use characteristics, according to the National Energy audit guidelines, the establishment of a medical building energy classification. And a hospital in Shandong for example, calculation and analysis of the energy situation in the hospital, in this paper also describes a method for building energy audits and medical applications. In order to properly evaluate and compare various energy methods, the introduction of scientific and rational energy conversion method:Equivalent electrical. Secondly, this thesis energy audit principles and methods of grade three hospitals in Shandong Province to conduct research and analysis can be the case, to obtain the total energy consumption of the building area of health indicators and sub-indicators.
