Researches On Post-occupancy Evaluation Of Pipa Lake Park Planning Project In Nanjing Zhongshan Scenic Area

By introducing the theory and methods for the post occupancy evaluation, this thesisinvestigates and evaluates the Pipa Lake Park in Nanjing Zhongshan scenic resort, furthermore,based on the result of the evaluation, it makes the feedback research and multi-level fuzzycomprehensive evaluation. Through the research, it reveals the condition of the realization ofthe design concepts, thus learns the experience in the process of realization and analyzes thecause of the failed parts of the design, finally seeks to provide suggestion for similar projects.This thesis consists of six chapters:Chapter one proposes the aim and meaning of the research and establishes the basiccontents, methods and the frame.Chapter tow contains the preparation for the post occupancy evaluation, including basicknowledge of POE, preparation of the information for the evaluation, the design of theevaluation and the construction of evaluation factor sets. By the research of these material, itfinds out the aim and contents of the evaluation, along with the evaluation methods, collectionof the data,and the analysis methods.Chapter three systemizes the the investigation estabished in the chapter before, includingsatisfaction assessment questionnaire,cognitive evaluation survey, behaviour observation andinterview,all of which are the basic information.Based on the investigation in chapter three, chapter four, in the respect of shapinglandscape and site creation, summarizes the accepted and unaccepted aspects by the users, thenanalyses the success and explores the reasons of the unaccepted parts, furthermore find out theenlightment.Chapter five, with the application of research methods in fuzzy mathematics, conbinedwith the questionnaire for the visitors, makes multi-level fuzzy comprehensive evaluationand judges its enviromental level, finally concludes with positive evaluation results. Then withthe experience in the Pipa Lake Resort, it proposes suggestion for the similar design.As the conclusional part, chapter six reviews the main contents of the thesis, summarizesthe conclusion and the shortage of the thesis, finally in the perspective of post occupancy evaluation and design research offers research prospects.
