This topic takes a plastic mask which used in a section of car for example, made a moldflow analysis, not only propose solutions for the problems encountered, but also summed up acomplete analysis process. The solutions and the analysis process can provide a reference formold flow analysis of other plastic parts.The pressure distribution shows that there is a uneven pressure distribution inside themold, the areas which bear greater force prone to fatigue damage. In order to solve thisproblem, this topic did a lot of research in terms of the damaged area repairing. Reverseengineering techniques can help to obtain accurate three-dimensional digital model of thedamaged area and the engineering drawings of the mold which to be repaired. This topiccontinues the research "Research on Reverse Modeling and Repair Technology of RadiatorCap Mold’s Wear Area" and follow the model of the damaged area, carried out laser claddingexperiments for existing mold (material is aluminum alloy2024).In order to find the optimal process parameters of the mold laser cladding, This topictake aluminum alloy2024as matrix, Iron-based alloy powder as cladding material, conducteda large number of single-channel, multi-channel laser cladding experiments with IPG fiberlaser, KUKA robot and other equipments. Focuses on the relationship between the laserpower, powder feed rate, scan speed, lap rates and the effect of cladding, determine theoptimal process parameters by observation and analysis of the macro-morphology andmicrostructure of the sample. Then proved cladding hardness and wear resistance increases bymeasuring the hardness of the cladding body.This topic designed a reasonable repair path by the model of the damaged area and theoptimal process parameters. Then complete laser cladding of the mold by manualprogramming. The surface seems smooth and there are no defects such as cracks and localaccumulation.In the end, the topic did some research on the application of offline programmingsoftware, discussed the offline programming process by a specific example. The topic findsthat Offline programming is better than manual programming both in the accuracy and thespeed by simulation running. Offline programming method can effectively improve theefficiency of programming, and it can effectively promote laser cladding to automation andintelligent.
