| Centrifugal compressor is the most widely used equipment in chemical industry, with the expansion of the scale of industrial production and production technology improvement, the consumer require more in security, reliability and uninterrupted when controlling centrifugal compressor. Redundancy technology can be widely applied to the centrifugal compressor control as it is the key to improve control system security and reliability.The methanol project in Qinghai province is the background of this paper. After the fully understanding of methanol production process, compressor control requirements and deep research on the structure of the redundant technology configuration and technical characteristics, the compressor control system based on the triple redundant is designed. This system selects2oo3redundant configuration after analysis and compare multiple redundant configuration structure and the PFD. This configuration makes redundant settings to control system’s power, input, output and communication network, which improves the reliability and safety of compressor control system. Human-machine interface developed by CIMPLICITY software realizes the monitoring of process state.In the case that the result for conventional PID to control compressor surge is not ideal, the fuzzy PID algorithm is put forward. The simulation result shows that this algorithm can better protect against surging, which provides solutions for the further optimization of the system.The actual operation shows that this system has strong advantages in reliability, safety and portability, which can satisfy the methanol production control requirements. |
