Ecological region as a research branch of ecology has long been brought to the attention of the international. As more serious of the global problem such as environmental change, biodiversity loss, land resource scarcity, the studies of ecological region has more and more important realistic meaning. This paper focuses on summarizing and combing the ecological regional architecture how to combine with the aspects such as in ecological economic, climate, materials and so on and combines with mild central Yunnan province regional climate characteristics and traditional dwellings response strategy and the green building evaluation standard of Yunnan province, to summarize mild central Yunnan province ecological regional architecture design strategy, to explore the ecological architecture design methods with local characteristics in Yunnan province.The specific content of the paper is organized as below:First of all, The paper try to find ecological regional architecture how to show in the factors of the climate, the material, the ecological and so on by to analysis and summary the factors and aspects of ecological regional architecture. Then through the data research and field measurement,this paper studies on the climatecharacteristics of Yunnan Province in the mild climate district.According to the regional residential surveying and mapping,explore the climate response of traditional regional architecture,finally has a certain local meaning "Yunnan province" evaluation standard for green building construction on the new requirements, the traditional residential response the strategy into the design strategy to adapt to modern architectural design,the paper summarized Yunnan Province Central Ecological moderate regional architectural design strategy in the site, building groups, building space, single building area, summarized as "ecological repair site", "embedded" building group layout, "ecological buffer" architectural space and architectural entity design strategy.and combines with the design strategies mentioned above to deal with space and architecture, to build a good architectural environment in Yunnan province to response to moderate the central regional ecological characteristics.
