In recent years, in order to improve the atmospheric environment quality and the comprehensive efficiency of heating pipe network a large number of coal-fired boiler and heating network is being modified. At this stage the coal to gas, the central heating and the intelligent management of heating pipe network is a problem to be solved urgently. In this background, a school district central heating system as an example for study in this paper. The energy efficiency, the environmental benefits and others of modification are compared. This study aim at summarizing relevant experience and provide reference for the later research.First of all, the energy consumption of central heating system is analyzed. These objects include boiler room, concentrated heating exchanger station, heating pipe network and heat users. The energy consumption models of boiler room and heating exchanger station are established. The central heating system boiler room renovation of a school is used as an example to analyze energy consumption. Through the comparison of energy consumption the advantages of central heating energy consumption are got.Secondly, the graph theory calculation method is applied in heating pipe network to simplify. Then the simple central heating pipeline running diagram is built. The hydraulic balance of heating pipe network is analyzed based on this model to guide pipe network transformation effectively. At the end of this article, the atmospheric pollutant emission calculation model is built based on the data of central heating transformation. The social benefits, environmental benefits and economic benefits of central heating transformation are calculated...
