Yunnan region has abundant sunlight and strong radiation, and this make it has a huge light energy potential. The small scale solar water heating system has been popularly used in residential buildings. Large scale solar water heating system has not been widely used in industrial park to conduct central heating. If large scale solar water heating system can be widely used in industrial park, traditional and decentralized heating way will be replaced, the fossil energy will be instead of clean energy, the proportion of fossil energy used to supply energy in industrial park will gradually reduce and the energy utilization will be improved. Although the development of solar heating industry approached to maturity, but the research of the large scale solar heating system used conduct central heating in industrial park is need to be further in-depth studied.Firstly, local climate data was collected and previous research results, which is got by our research group, was summarized. Based on actual situation and design specification, compared and contrasted the solar collection efficiency and advantages and disadvantages of various solar collector, a solar water heating system was installed and debugged, it is used to supply hot water to a pharmaceutical factory in industrial park. This step can establish a foundation for follow-up application parameters research.Secondary, the solar collecting performance of the solar water heating system was studied. Daily heat gain of the system was tested, which was 2131.80 MJ, the test results indicated that the daily heat gain in unit contour lighting area had little relationship with environmental wind speed, but had a close relationship with environmental temperature and cumulative irradiation. A solar collection efficiency test was conducted on the solar collector of the system, and the instantaneous efficiency and total heat loss coefficient was computed. Then the property parameters of UTLE vacuum solar collect tube under the stagnation without water condition were tested. The test result showed that the average solar collect efficiency of the system was 0.63. Instantaneous efficiency and property parameters under the stagnation without water condition of the system achieved the national standard request.Third, solar collecting efficiency and heat loss of the solar water heating system in different environmental conditions was tested repeatedly and calculated and compared. The influences of solar radiation, environmental temperature, environmental wind speed and cloud cover on solar collecting efficiency and heat loss of the system were analyzed. The result indicated that radiation and environmental temperature had a promoting effect on the solar collect efficiency during a certain period, but environmental wind speed and cloud cover had an inhibiting effect on it. Environmental wind speed is the important factor which can influence the heat loss of the system, the bigger the environmental wind speed, the bigger the heat loss.Finally, economic and environmental benefits of the designed solar water heating system were analyzed. The results indicated that economic and environmental benefits of the system were remarkable. The study can provide technical basis for the solar central heating used in industrial park in Yunnan province.
