With the sustained and rapid development of the economy, our demand for electricity is increasing. In order to ensure stable supply of electricity, we have planned the construction of a large number of power projects.Firstly, the article introduces the research background and significance of 50 MW trough solar thermal power project in Inner Mongolia, as well as research status of the comprehensive evaluation. Then, the article introduces some theories of evaluation of trough solar thermal power project, such as the meaning and basic requirements of evaluation, the main contents of evaluation including analysis of economic conditions, technical conditions, social conditions, basic principles, and basic program.Secondly, the paper introduces 50 MW trough solar thermal power project of Inner Mongolia overview, including the analysis of the project overview, the solar energy resources, the main system and equipment, the necessity of project construction, as well as the feature of the evaluation.Thirdly, the paper constructed evaluation of trough solar thermal power project index system, such as the principle of index system of the evaluation of trough solar thermal power project, the construction of economic evaluation index system, social evaluation index system, technical evaluation index system and total evaluation index system. Then, the paper constructs evaluation model of trough solar thermal power project, such as brief introduction and steps of AHP, the steps and basic contents of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Finally, this paper evaluates 50 MW trough solar thermal power project in Inner Mongolia, such as of the weighing values of assessment indexes of the project, including first level index weight and secondary level index weight, the determination of the membership degree of each index including evaluation index evaluation levels and determine the membership degree. Then the paper does fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of solar thermal power project, including the sheer level fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and multi-level comprehensive evaluation.
