Electricity is a pillar industry of our country, it plays a very important role in the economy, people’s livelihood and industrial development. The substation is also critical in the power system, it mainly connected the power station and users, delivered electrical energy to the users via voltage conversion. Generally, substation equipment will breakdown under prolonged using, leading to the substation cannot run properly. At present, most of the maintenance plan is regular maintenance, but it has been unable to meet the requirements of reliable operation of the device. Therefore, analyzing the device status information to achieve an accurate assessment of the substation equipment is essential.First, substation equipment will be analyzed, which includes transformers, circuit breakers, isolating switch and transformers, pointing out that the main factors currently affecting the substation equipment, and analyzing of various factors briefly. Secondly, the actual application of substation equipment evaluation will be analyzed. The evaluation is actually to provide a reliable maintenance plan and enhance the security and stability of the device. Then, the mathematical model and the principles of evaluation is presented. Using the analytic hierarchy process to calculate the weight of the factors of each device. Eventually AHP and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method combining achieve comprehensive and accurate evaluation purposes substation equipment. Finally, the paper will apply the results of the study to a substation instance Zhejiang Province, using the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method evaluate the actual substation. The numerical examples show that the method proposed in this paper the correctness and effectiveness, but also provide a reliable basis for the development of equipment maintenance program.Based on the analysis substation equipment fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, AHP to calculate the index weight method achieve the substation equipment complete, true and effective assessment.
