In recent years, China’s power grid construction is booming, and also made a very satisfactory results. The present study is a grid construction tends to improve the momentum to the development of power grid construction in all areas have a lot of research. Substation sites are preferred as an important part of network planning for the economic stability of the entire power grid construction, efficiency and grid operation,security plays a vital role, using a reasonable method substation site, you can in the construction and operation of the grid on the basis of the economic stability and improve the sustainability of the power grid construction.Firstly, through research and analysis of the characteristics of the substation site,combined with the actual substation construction, multi-perspective method to establish a set of evaluation system. Among them, infrastructure, natural environment, cultural environment, grid architecture, technical conditions, economic and energy saving aspects of building seven substation siting evaluation system.
