Radio Frequency Identification technology, an emerging automatic identification technology, it has a wide range of applications in manufacturing, logistics management, warehouse management and so on. CEP is a specialized technology for processing the relationship between events, with the help of the complex event processing engine, we can build relationships model for complex event quickly, and handle complex business logic easily.At last, and we can make the system high-expansion, low coupling and has flexible features.In this paper, at the background of the actual application requirements and the practical problems that we encountered during the development and deployment of RFID warehouse system, such as it is complex to integrate the RFID equipment and management system, data monitoring becomes more and more difficulty, the amount of data generated by the equipment getting huge and difficult treatment. We designed a new RFID warehouse management system with CEP technology. To achieve our goals, the main work is as follows:Firstly, we know that only rely on the Data–oriented database technology is difficult to achieve efficient RFID event detection and processing.So we make a detailed description about the CEP technology in RFID warehouse management system, based on the actual requirements and surveys, we discuss how to make the complex event processing technology combine with the existing system better.At last, we make an architecture for the new system.Second, for the architecture of the warehouse management system and actual requirements, we designed a RFID warehouse management system with NEsper–a complex event processing platform. We use the LIKE-SQL language to handle the complex relationships between events and deal with complex business logic.Thirdly, we set up a test environment and make a test solution to the system. According to the test results and real requirements, we made an improvement of this system to make the system more perfect.To make the system more usuful, in this paper, we also propose some further optimization measures.According to the test results, we know that the CEP technology shows a higher performance.the new system based on the CEP technology makes the warehouse management more efficient and timely.
