One of the core work of grid security is the real-time monitoring and control of grid operation. The rapid development of China’s power grid, in the face of complex network-wide real-time data dispatcher on duty takes a very long time, for every tiny change in the grid must be constantly monitored, this mode of operation will inevitably lead to staff fatigue, impact on system running posture complete control of development, only focus on partial changed. Substation monitoring early warning system put in dispatching operation, providing real-time data classification management grid for dispatchers, dig out those that have a major impact on the power grid data, and these data were figurative expression, passing out run trend grid. In this paper, for more than a few problems, summed up the application point of a new generation of Suining substation monitoring early warning system, the key issues and new technologies. From a new generation of Suining substation monitoring network platform warning systems, integrated design of hardware platform, software platform and application interface and implementation; time-series database for use in scheduling monitoring system; visualization technology in the dispatch monitoring system; dispatch monitoring system and relay protection and fault information system integration consider four aspects are discussed, and the design and implementation of a new generation of Suining substation monitoring warning system prospected and analyzed.The main contents of this project is more than one kind of high-voltage electrical equipment Defect tracking monitoring, networking, data processing system to save, first to isolate the knife, for example, to achieve the substation disconnector temperature abnormality of defect-line monitoring warning that in the case of the operating personnel can not or is not possible, the implementation of abnormal defects occur disconnector temperature monitoring, tracking, early warning, real-time data recording and comprehensive analysis of the operation, to achieve the isolation switch contact point temperature tracking management, monitoring, early warning, and by extension to other high-voltage electrical equipment. So as to achieve the entire high-voltage system can be qualitative and quantitative monitoring of condition-based maintenance purposes.
