Since the notion of constructing the strong & smart grid has been proposed by the STATE GRID Corporation of China, the technology of smart grid operating technical support system and smart substation technologies has been rapidly developed, and the power networks management has been gradually changed to scientific and intelligent ways from manual operation ones. Thus, the traditional data-interacting mode was facing a significant change, it had to adapt to the optimal, high-efficient, high-reliability and high-security requirement of power grid dispatching and control, and economic power grid operation.In order to implement the 1st document issued by the STATE GRID Corporation of China, the power grid dispatching and control center of China has proposed three ways to achieve the goals of information-interacting with substation and meet the requirements of “Dispatching & Control integration”, which included “data optimization”,“monitoring-information directly transmission” and ”remote browsing”.Under the consideration for user needs and business requirements of monitoring-information interaction and specific studies on substation monitor technologies, dispatching automation technologies, communication network technologies and IEC standards, a substation monitoring information interacting system, with applied values and been worth widely popularizing, has been designed in this paper.This system can transfer substation operating conditions to dispatching & control center quickly, reliably and accurately, after optimal processing of substation running data, models and graphics. Meanwhile, this system allows operators on duty from dispatching & control center and operation & maintenance center browsing full panoramic views of substation data through remote browsing technique. It helps the staffs to master the whole power grids’ running state and to achieve the target of unattended and dispatching & control integration.
