Software Development Of Dispatching Device For SubStation Based On The VxWorks Operating System

The communicaton sub-system of substation is one of the essential parts which plays an important role in the whole automation level of substation.With the further development of the substation autotion and the more implement of the digital protection devices,the demand to improve the level of the communicaton sub-system is greately needed.In order to meet the need,one kind of design of dispatching device for substation which is based on the VxWorks Operating system.is putted forward in the dissertation.With the background of PSI2000 communication management device, firstly the scheme of the device based on the demand of substation system is introduced as a whole, then the substation transmission protocols are analyzed, and the hardware system as well. After discussing how to apply the RTOS VxWorks and build the developing settings., how to design the software is illuminated in the following chapters. The design and coding of software are the most important parts of the paper, which include disassembling the tasks, scheduling the tasks, the data structure, and the flow chat of all modules. In the last part of the dissertation, work which was completed, which need to be continued and the prospect of communication of substation automation is presented.
