With further development of Western Development Strategy and propulsion of construction in the eastern region of Hohhot, especially east train station of Hohhot was went into service, existing highway passenger station of Hohhot has been unable to meet the growing demand for passenger transport. In order to promote the highway transportation construction, ease the pressure, improve highway passenger turnover, to plan and build new automobile passenger hub terminal has a very important strategic significance and practical significance.The layout principle of automobile passenger hub terminal is discussed, influence factors of automobile passenger hub terminal of Hohhot are analyzed. The existing situation and problems of passenger transport station status and existing problems are studied, and the construction necessity of Hohhot East automobile passenger hub terminal(HEAPHT) are pointed out. Basing on its social economic status, combing with the comprehensive transportation development trend, using the regression analysis method, Elastic coefficient method and combination forecasting method, the social economy and passenger demand of Hohhot are predicted.Aimed at economic benefit, financial analysis, uncertainty analysis, macro social benefit evaluation respectively, the economic feasibility, existing development and current difficulties during its developing of HEAPHT are studied, and the corresponding proposal is put forward.Finally, construction scale of HEAPHT is 1 level: designed passenger send is 20000 person-times, the maximum passenger container is 1600 persons, effective bus send is 30, day route is 986, average traffic distance is 160 km. HEAPHT is at the north of Hohhot East Train Station, east of Wantong road and the south of Dongzhanbeijie. The whole layout of HEAPHT could ensure production smooth and efficiency high, and realize its all functions.
