| With the growth of China’s economy in recent years, China’s transportation industry also has been well development. With more and more traffic information are available for our everyday life, and the information has become increasingly complex and more diverse, how to manage these information effectively and provide appropriate traffic information to satisfy user’s real information need is an important issue.This thesis designs a unified framework of traffic information publishing platform. It describes the relationship among various internal parts of the framework and how each part works together to provide effectively information access. The thesis also investigates possible key technologies to build such platform. The main contribution of this thesis includes:1.A multi-dimensional multi-granularity transportation information organization model is proposed. This model can effectively manage different information, classify the information categories from different dimension, and filter the dirty data. A unified framework of information publishing platform is also proposed.2.The thesis investigates the possibility of information publishing strategy especially the publishing time selection. A local province road network and its OD history data are used to test how to choose the right chance to send information to the affected area.3.A context-aware personalized traffic information service is also examined.The situational awareness technique is integrated with the information publishing platform. A personalized information service is provided by using the users’ log data, current traffic situation, and other collected information.In this thesis, I also run some experiments to investigate the feasibility of the key technologies; our experiments prove the framework’s validity and the design’s rationality. |
