As Chinese automobile industry has been developing for over thirty years, the consumers are not satisfied with those normal equipped vehicle, more and more client seek for personalization. Logistics and order batch become more and more important for modern automobile manufacture. How to keep the sequence of cars being processed in the whole production period and remain the stability of the sequence will be the key of lean production. The more car type and equipment are produced in one plant, the more parts will be delivered to the assembly line. Production control should be lean. The high requirement of vehicle sequence will not be satisfied by traditional production control, a more flexible method will be needed. For the first standard factory in Shanghai Volkswagen, body distribution center will be built besides the four main shops. It will also be regarded as an improving attempt to lean production. In this article, begin with the order and production flow, analysis of manufacturing process. Expound the characteristic of modern logistic and the meaning of sequence to car maker. Find out the links of sequence disturbance and the method to correct by analyzing those factors which may affect the vehicle sequence in manufacture process. A body distribution center will be built in order to adjust the vehicle sequence to the original when they are going into the assembly shop. The whole process of planning from concept and control system design to simulation, then the implement of the project, and at last the hand over to the custom is recorded in this article. It will be the benchmark for the following project in Shanghai Volkswagen.
