It also made researches on the development venation, the strategies and the works of “Urbanisms”.This thesis consists of 5 parts. The 1st part introduces the research background and Holl’s background and architecture thoughts. The 2nd part clears that “Urbanisms” is the mian architectural thought of Holl since 21 st century by using methoed of literature statistical analysis and extracting the core words. The 3rd part combs the development venation of “Urbanisms”. The 4th part analyzes how “Urbanisms”embodied in Holl’s architectral strategy and works. The 5th part summaries the thought of “Urbanisms” and indicates its revelations for the contemporary Chinese architectural creation.
