The Design And Realization Of Distribution Automation System Based On IEC-61970

Distribution automation system is to monitor the collection of the capacitance current in distribution networks and the running status of switch to make the distribution network keep in a safe and reliable, quality and economical condition by the application of technologies like software engineering, electric engineering and automatic control. When it breaks down, the distribution automation master station system can identify the faulty section automatically and then isolates the faulty immediately. Later, it will restores the power in non-fault section, which avoids the faulty section leading to the whole circuit out of power. Distribution automation master station system greatly reduces the power-outage range, enhances the reliability of power supply and meets residents’ increasing power demand.The main tasks of distribution automation master station system is to collect, handle and monitor the service data in distribution network. The system consists of system software, application software, database, system server, workstation, network equipment, network security device, interface device of data and communication, communication interface wiring closet, GPS, recorder and printer, and specialized uninterruptible power supply, etc.This paper firstly describes the background of this topic, purpose and significance if the design briefly. The functions that the distribution automation master station system needs to complete: establish and enumerate the functions of each module based on IEC-61970 standard, design based on SOA, make the distribution automation master station system have the functions of recalling the accidents in the whole circuit, data comprehensive inquiry, dynamic graph display, etc. This paper also introduces the used technologies for example, IEC-61970 standard, IEC-61970, CIM, CIS module interface specification, 101 and 104 communication protocol, the identification and isolation of the faulty section in the power grid. And then the paper explains the design of the distribution automation master station system.
