With the development of the urban economy, The scales of many Chinese cities are also expanding rapidly.The transform of historical zones in these cities has been mentioned usually. Reformation of historical zone transition from the previous government completely dominated the situation to the coexistence of multiple subjects to the current situation, and. therefore exploring a new model for the reformation of historical zones is very important.This article collect and discuss lots of domestic and foreign historical theory and related Charter protection regulation, explore a new way adapting to the domestic characters of JianShui town.The preservation of historical buildings in China began with the protection of individual historical buildings and it was considered from the perspective of individual building rather than the whole historical zone.up to now, methods and measures especially designed for the protection of historical building are still applied to the preservation of historical zone under many circumstances,which cannot produce satisfactory results.From the perspective of city planning.the thesis argues that the preservation of historical zone is a systematic project,and the protection of historical buildings is only part of it.every aspect of social and economic life,such as government support,public participation,fund raising,planning administrative and travel.contributes to not only smooth the task of the preservation goes,but also the results of the preservation.Therefore it is the purpose of this thesis to discuss the factors contributes to preservation and the re-develop of historical zone in order to make some positive contributes to the practice of preservation and redevelopment of historical zone.
