As with the energy conservation and emissions reduction in highway transportation became more and more serious, drop and pull transport union between different transportation enterprises has been a new trend for our country’s drop and pull transport industry. As a key link of drop and pull transport union, vehicle coordinated scheduling is of important research significance. The topic of this paper is studying the vehicle coordinated scheduling problem of drop and pull transportation. The main study of the paper is as follows:Firstly, the paper analyzes the operation mechanism of drop and pull transport union. It mainly includes four aspects: organization forms, the operation flow path of depots, the particularity of vehicle coordinated scheduling problem, and economic accounting method. Secondly, it establishes tractor scheduling model, trailer allocation model and vehicle scheduling scheme selection model. A bi-level programming model is developed: the upper level aims to minimize the total cost and maximize the total payoffs from the vehicle scheduling perspective, while based on group decision making theory the lower level pursues the best overall satisfaction from the different scheduling schemes. Thirdly, the upper level vehicle scheduling model is solved by genetic algorithm and the lower level vehicle scheduling scheme selection model is solved by group analytic hierarchy process, Matlab procedures are used to simulate. Finally, an example analysis is carried out so as to validate rationality and feasibility of the model built in the paper. The conclusion of this paper could be referenced by drop and pull transport union to schedule union vehicle in the pursuit of the optimal of union benefit and individuals benefit.
