With the development of social economy and the acceleration of urbanization, the urban environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious. People are full of longing and yearning for the green ecological environment. At present, urban park as an important part of urban green space which plays a crucial role in improving the urban ecological environment and creating a microclimate of urban space, of which the construction and renovation have been widely accepted by the community, as well as leadrs at all levels attach great importance to them. At present, urban park develops rapidly and is becoming increasingly mature. Design does not start from the designer’s ideas any more, more attention has been payed to the user’s immediate needs. Studying the urban park usage from the tourist`s points gradually becomes a trend.In this paper, Tianjin Water Park was selected as an example, the park’s space and tourists behavior through field investigation was analysised. Based on the theory of POE method, the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) was used to establish Tianjin Water Park usage evaluation from four aspects of space, landscape, facilities and management, and 25 factors of the evaluation system was conducted weight analysis on; by using Kano model to deepen the data of the result of the weight, this research proposed optimization strategies of Tianjin Water Park, so as to enrich the post occupancy evaluation(POE) system and provide references and basis for the practice of optimization and reconstruction of the urban parks. The contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) This paper constructed Tianjin Water Park Primary Poe satisfaction evaluation seted by analyzing related theory of POE. The Evaluation Factors set included four first level evaluation factors: space system, landscape system, facility system and management mechanism these and 47 secondary evaluation factors. After conducting importance analysis on the secondary evaluation factors, The Satisfaction Evaluation Set was established by screening out 25 level evaluation factors thereof.(2) The Tianjin water park was divided into five functional areas by means of behavior observation and questionnaire, and the characteristics and behavior of users in different functional areas were investigated. According to the survey results, this paper raised the existing problems in the park space design and maintenance of facilities.(3) By using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) to evaluate the importance of the park, and explore the importance of the second evaluation factors in the park, the weighted index sorting of the 25 factors was obtained. The factors of higher weight value owned security, accessibility of the space traffic and the diversity of activity space. Through the overall of Tianjin Water Park, it scored 3.703 points, which rated quite satifsfactory.(4) By using the Kano model to optimize and improve the POE evaluation model, this paper got the improved weight of the 25 evaluation factors and analyzed the factors that need to be optimized in the process of the improvement of the water park. The key factors to improve the weights are: the diversity of the activity space, the participation of the activity space, the barrier free facilities, facilities maintenance, service consciousness, security and the guide of the brands.(5) According to the importance of the modified weight ranking to determine the need optimized the factor, this paper proposed optimization to strategies the park space, barrier free facilities, guide of the brands and service management and other aspects.
