With the continuous development of the transport industry, city buses become an indispensable public transport, passengers on public transportation requirements are also getting higher and higher. Degree of accuracy and in-car voice prompt system bus site identification information to passengers is very important, appear intelligent public good solution to these problems. This paper analyzes the research status at home and abroad to study the core technology of intelligent transportation systems, design of intelligent transportation system consists of three sub-modules:vehicle terminal, the monitoring center server, electronic bus schedule.Bus vehicle terminal installed in the running, GPS is responsible for receiving satellite signals, according to the calculated landmark information through the serial port transmitted to the STM32, STM32 receive GPS data corresponding packing process through the serial port to send to the GPRS module, GPRS module is the latitude and longitude information, time information is sent to the monitoring center via the base station, while the vehicle terminal sends the appropriate information to the electronic bus schedule. Vehicle terminal software is modular in design, specific software and hardware design into two parts, hardware circuit design from a cost and extended functions of the two aspects, a detailed analysis of the selection module, the connection and the peripheral circuit design process. Electronic Stop sign accepted into GPRS module, main control chip module and LCD display module for receiving data transmitted by the vehicle-mounted terminal, while doing arrival of the vehicle ahead stops working.This paper uses GPS positioning terminal to obtain information, and vehicle motion state of latitude and longitude and time information, transmitted to the monitoring center through the GPRS network server and the electronic bus schedule to complete the vehicle arrival information tips and arrival electronic vehicle bus schedule tips for work.
