Study On Comprehensive Evaluation Model Of Urban Rail Transit Operations Management

With the rapid development of urban rail transit (URT) industry, how to improve operations management continuously and provide quality services for passengers has become an urgent demand for URT operating companies. Therefore, evaluation method of URT operations management level, helping operating company analysis shortcomings and seek opportunities for improvement, provides more satisfactory services for passengers.In this paper, set in China’s URT operations management, combined with operational status of Hangzhou Metro, I worked on evaluating and improving the URT operations management. The main work is as follows:1. Made an in-depth analysis on the important management factors of URT operations, which includes employee management, equipment management, vehicles organization and management, passenger management, security management, maintenance management, cost and energy management.2. By further breaking the 7 categories of key management factors down into 35 specific operational management indicators, designed an evaluation index system of URT operations management, and established a direct link of the comprehensive evaluation and the statistical data.3. After the evaluation index system of URT operations management had been already established, used Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the index weight.4. Established a comprehensive evaluation model of URT operations management, then analysed it with Hangzhou Metro operational status in 2015. Finally, identify the recommendations for improvement.5. By streamlining operations management indicators 35 to 15, simplified the comprehensive evaluation model of URT operations management, and verified the applicability of the compact model by BP neural network learning algorithm.
