Research Of Day Lighting Design On The Airport Terminal Departure Hall To The Second Building Climate Zone

With the rapid development of Chinese civil aviation industry, numbers of terminal buildings are springing up. Because of its huge size, busy business, long-time operation and so on, there is an extremely high cost of energy consumption, to which artificial lighting is a main factor. As we are facing the challenge of serious energy shortage, creating buildings with energy saving design is an effective solution. Natural light is a kind of inexhaustible green energy, which has an impressing advantage of effective energy saving. Departure halls are usually designed on the top plane of termianls and easily to receive day light. Therefore, the combination of departure halls design and day lighting design will stimulate huge potential of energy saving. It is of general practical significance to design departure halls with day light.In the research of day lighting design on the airport terminal departure hall to the second building climate zone, firstly, based on the basic research into departure halls design and day lighting design, essential factors of day lighting design on terminal department halls are summarized. After analyzing the day light environment of the terminal department halls in the second building climate zone, inadequate lighting areas are pointed out. Secondly, according to the problems of day lighting design of terminal department halls, this research develops from two aspects, which respectively meets the functional needs and the comfortable needs. In this process, essential design factors such as patterns of departure halls, designs of skylights and shields are discussed. Finally, applying this research conclusions to the practice of the day lighting design on the department hall of Terminal 2 of Xinzheng International Airport, Zhengzhou.In summary, this research starts from the necessity of day lighting design for terminal department halls, putting forwards ways to day lighting design for terminal department halls in the second building climate zone. Hope to provide a scientific reference on day lighting design for terminal department halls in the second building climate zone, and solve problems about day lighting design for terminal departure halls, promoting the development of the research on green terminal design in China.
