Research On The Internal Space Design Of Terminal Building Based On The Change Of Check-in Mode

Since the 21 st century,with the increasing number of passengers,airport construction in China has been growing rapidly.As the main building of the airport,operating efficiency and passenger experience are the core competitiveness of the terminal building.With the development of new technologies,great changes have taken place in the contemporary check-in mode.The new characteristics of self-service,mobility and diversification have appeared in the check-in mode,as well as the phenomenon of extending to the outside of the terminal.The emergence of the new check-in mode has improved the operational efficiency and passenger experience of the terminal;however,it also has a certain degree of contradiction with the internal space of the existing terminal.Based on the basic situation of domestic terminals at the present stage,this paper takes the departure hall of large terminals as the key research object.Through in-depth analysis of the impact of the new check-in mode on the terminal in various aspects,the paper aims to summarize the design strategy of the internal space of terminals under the current situation of check-in mode reform.Firstly,the paper makes a preliminary arrangement of the relevant theories of airport terminal design and the concrete contents of the new and old check-in modes.Based on the field investigation of the departure hall of large domestic terminals,this paper summarizes the basic status,design experience and problems in the actual operation of terminals under the new check-in mode.Afterwards,through the comprehensive comparison of the old and new check-in modes,the impact of the change of the check-in mode on passenger flow,check-in time,facility and space scale,and the internal streamline of the check-in hall is further analyzed.According to the previous research results,the design concept of the airport terminal building in the new era is proposed.From the six levels of planning and design,process organization,system and facility configuration,business organization,streamline design and space experience,the paper proposes Adaptive design strategy for the design of the internal space of the new terminas under the new check-in mode,and sums up improvement measures of the terminals have been built in the near and long-term.Finally,the construction of intelligent airport and the future terminal development trend are prospected.This paper seeks to respond to the design of the internal space of the terminal building on the basis of the research results of the field,combined with the status quo of the change of the check-in model and its impact on the terminal building.The transformation proposes reasonable suggestions,in order to further enhance the space quality and service experience of the contemporary terminal building.
