Although the rapid urbanization led economic development, but also made uncontrolled expansion of building rubbish. A large number of projects are facing the predicament of being eliminated by city, because of the pursuit of short-term profit while ignoring quality. Commercial building is closely related to life and more likely to be abandoned by city development. It needs to make adjustments according to design concept, the new mode of life and the culture of consumption. In such context, we take Nanjing small commodity city as typical case to make clear the basic principles and requirements of business transformation. And then through the development of renewal and transformation measures we can radiate new vitality in the era of small commodity city.
