Ecological Design On New Rural Residential Building In Eastern Zhejiang Province

Rural, the antithesis of the city, the formation of local rural building become Regional, particularity, which adapted to the local environment and geography. With the continuous progress of urban construction, many uncoordinated problems have surfaced about the rural urbanization process in Eastern Zhejiang Province:” the lack of overall consideration of site design and environmental layout, the unreasonable land use; the unified architecture can’t adapt to the local climate; the new rural residential building construction widely use the clay bricks, without any conscious of use new materials;envelope without any insulation measures and the structural is unreasonable; the irrational use of water resources and the waste of resources is widespread; without awareness of new energy and renewable energy; similar forms and there is no professional engaged in the construction of ecological design team, resulting in the ignorance of combination between the construction,ecological environment, and energy conservation technology.” In this context, the ecological design of new rural residential building is an effective means to effectively balance the ecological environment of the contradiction and new rural construction.Through field research on new rural residential building construction situation in eastern Zhejiang Province, starting from the particularity of a rural residential building,summarized and analyzed the settlement, space, shape, structure and materials. Then ultimately through a large number of cases which summarized on new rural residential building problems, the Eco-design thinking has been introduced in building design stage and the Eco-design strategy has been proposed to adapt the new rural residentialbuilding development. So that on the basis of the rural houses adapting eco-environment,the saving-land, saving-energy and saving-materials will increase the technology content on saving residential building and meet residents comfort under the premise of reducing the energy consumption of residential buildings.
