Research For Conservation Planning Of Yinchen Historical Andcultural Town In Changzhi Shanxi Province

In response to the current real problems existed in preservation of historicaland cultural towns and villages, focusing on today’s advanced internationalheritage protection concepts, the paper thinks about how to change the isolatedprotection of ignoring the relationship between natural surrounding and heritageinto landscape-heritage integral protection, how to change the fragmentedprotection of separating heritage from its space into heritage-space associatedprotection,how to change the frozen protection of segregating heritage and cultureinto a heritage-culture synergistic protection.The article focuses on the study ofYincheng historical town,introducing relevant concepts of Human SettlementsScience and Zonality into the protection of historical and cultural towns andvillages, proposing integral conservation based on large-scale landscape, historicalspace zonality and heritage-space associated development,expecting tosupplement the existing methodology of historical and cultural towns and villagesprotection.This paper applies methods of human geography and historical geography toresearch the human settlement background.Through field research, oral historyresearch,historical documents,architectural mapping and other methods,itsystematically classified the historical and cultural resources and establishing thedatabase.Adhering to the traditional Chinese conception of shaping humansettlements and cultural spaces, using methods of spatial typology,the paper studies the historical space zonality from landscape pattern,spatial form andhistorical and cultural characteristics, and then sums up the characteristics andvalues of Yincheng town. Ultimately it constructed the integral conservationmethodology and specific strategies based on large-scale landscape, historicalspace zonality and heritage-space associated developmen.This paper mainly gains a certain achievement in spatial perception as well ashistorical and cultural values exploration and establishment of integralconservation methodology,updating the advanced concepts in our currentprotection of historical and cultural towns and villages. It has also summarized andsupplemented the existing historical literature, mapping, basic documents, whichlaying the foundation of related topics and researches.
