Research Of Feeder Protection Device Based On IEC61850 Standard

IEC61850 standard is the most complete substation automation communication standard. With the rapid development of modern power technology and Internet communication technology, IEC61850 standard system for digital substation brought overflew development. Also makes the IEC61850 standard is widely promotion and application. Feeder protection plays an important role in the digital substation system, it provides a guarantee for the security and stability of digital substation system. In this paper feeder protection devices for the study of the feeder protection IED abstract modeling, SCL configuration description and communication to achieve in-depth study.Firstly, based on IEC61850 standard IED abstract establish an information model, a summary of the feeder protection IED device modeling, for instance feeder protection device modeling. Then according Feeder Protection IED instance information model, using XML-based SCL language Feeder Protection instantiation model configuration description, whereby ICD profile protection devices, and ICD profile conformance Static tests to ICD verify the correctness of the configuration file. Finally, a brief summary of concept prototype feeder protection devices, designed and built based on the communication test platform MMS client and server, using the Wireshark packet capture analysis software MMS message verification Feeder Protection IED information model and MMS communication are correct.
