Modern elevator manufacturers are not only concerned about the safety and reliability of the elevator operation, but also put the elevator ride comfort as an important indicator, and the dynamic characteristic of the elevator is a major factor affecting ride comfort. After studying the outcomes in related fields at home and aboard, the essay researched the vibration characteristics of traction elevator, combining theoretical study with computer simulation and experimentation. This essay mainly includes the following three aspects:(1)The essay establishes dynamic model of the elevator system and 8 degree of freedom vibration equation. The influences which different parameters to natural frequency of the elevator system are studied through MATLAB programming. We can change the static stiffness of car platform rubber and stiffness of shackle spring to adjust the natural frequency of the elevator system. The vertical vibration displacement and acceleration response caused on different working conditions is analyzed. The three external excitation exist at the same time, and all of them are the important reasons for elevator vibration.(2)Elevator horizontal 8 degrees of freedom dynamic model is established which considering the variable stiffness of the rails and hertz contact stiffness of guide roller. The different parameters to natural frequency of the elevator horizontal system are studied. We can change the stiffness of lateral damping rubber and stiffness of guide boots spring to adjust the natural frequency of horizontal vibration system. Study the transient response caused by the irregularity of the rail. The guide rail irregularity has a great influence on the horizontal vibration, and the bending effect of guide rail on same direction is particularly obvious.(3)Verify the accuracy of vertical dynamics model and horizontal dynamic model by undertaking modal experiments. Undertake the eccentric load experiments of elevator system, and put forward suggestions for vibration reduction.
