The Research On Post-Occupancy-Evaluation Of Wei Shui Campus’ Traffic Space In Chang’an University

University campus as a place to study and educate people, have the responsibility of training the all kinds of talent for future. The environment of university is very important for students living and growth. Campus traffic space is a part of the campus space. It also affects the quality of students’ life and learning as well as the future growth. So it is worth our attention. Weishui Campus of Chang’an University started in 2002, and opened in 2003.From 2003 to 2014, there are more than thirty thousand students and teachers living in them. How is the quality of these new campus traffic space? Do the students and teachers feel satisfied in the Weishui Campus? What methods and system can evaluate it? These all need to answer. In addition, Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE) as the main evaluation form for building environment, has been very mature in technology. It can reasonably and scientifically evaluate the quality of the space environment. It has been widely applied to many areas of the built environment. However, this evaluation method has not yet been studied on the campus traffic space.It is based on the above, this paper attempts to use of methods and system of Post Occupancy Evaluation(POE), make preliminary research for campus traffic space to determine the post evaluation objects and methods, and then construct the evaluation system for Weishui campus traffic space with the combination of subjective and objective. In the system, there are the subjective and objective evaluation factors, and the evaluation of behavior measurement. According to the evaluation system, this paper carried out the practice of evaluation of POE of campus traffic space in Weishui campus, and obtain the evaluation results. Finally, this paper summarize the problems and put forward suggestions for improvement according to the evaluation results. It is the main research logic and research content of this paper.The innovation of this paper is the construction of POE system and the subjective and objective evaluation factor for the campus traffic space. The evaluation system is the innovation of the theory and practice of evaluation for campus traffic space, and it is also an extension of the post evaluation research field. The evaluation factors, which are targeted to increase the scientific nature of the evaluation of campus traffic space, and also provide a reference for the same kind of evaluation.
