Semiconductor industry is an important foundation of information products manufacturing, has a wide range of applications in various industries. In the early days, the mode of operation of the semiconductor industry is to be bonded together by the manufacturer’s product design, manufacturing and marketing which can effectively control the quality of products within the enterprise. With the further development of the semiconductor industry, by trend of cost competitive pressures and resource integration and optimization, the industrial structure of the vertically integrated changed and more and more became outsourcing to professional semiconductor manufacturers. Therefore, the semiconductor product quality management changes from traditional internal quality management into the quality management of the entire supply chain, making new demands on the quality management of the semiconductor industry.Semiconductor products have a wide variety and complex production process which requires high level of cooperation collaborative manufacturing outsourcing quality management. Unclear interface define, unclear requirement, lacking of information feedback mechanism and continuous improvement is the current main issues in quality management. By now, there is no targeted overall supply chain quality management model available.In this paper, based on long term semiconductor industry working experience, from entire supply chain perspective, Utilize SCOR model(Supply-Chain Operations Reference model) made by Global Supply Chain Council to deeply research the manufactory outsourcing quality management in semiconductor industry. Firstly, it made deep analysis on basic structure and development trend of semiconductor industry manufacture outsourcing. Based on SCOR structure together with semiconductor manufacture outsourcing quality management requirement, it come out the critical point and weakness of quality management. Then, according to quality management process, and key performance index generate semiconductor manufacture outsourcing quality management model. An actual case was also given to prove the effectiveness of its operations.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter describes the significance of the topic, the research status and the main content of this paper. The second chapter analyzes the semiconductor manufacturing outsourcing trends and the status, the third chapter comes out SCOR-based analysis of semiconductor manufacturing outsourcing quality management. The fourth chapter leads SCOR ring semiconductor manufacturing outsourcing quality management model. The fifth chapter does case analysis. The sixth chapter gives conclusions and prospects.The main innovation point in this paper is to use SCOR model to generate a new effective semiconductor manufacture outsourcing quality management model. And provide clear quality communication method between semiconductor enterprises, effective evaluation method and continuously improvement mechanism. This paper provides a good example of problem solving for current weakness on semiconductor manufacturing outsourcing quality management.
