More and more companies realize that as a tool for business management andthe core of human resources management, performance management is an effectiveway for enterprise to integrate human resources, improve performance and gaincompetitive advantages. By combining KPI(key performance indicators), AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process), step by step analysis and MBO (management byobjectives) together and apply them to the performance management, companies cannot only lead the staff to work for the company goals, but can also makean objective and impartial assessment to staff performance, find the shortboard during the performance, take improvement measures to promote performanceof employee and the company. KPI is now fully-developed and widely-used inforeign countries. This thesis first gives a detailed introduction to theconcept of performance management and analyzes its theories. On the basis of a fullinvestigation and study on the application and current situation of performancemanagement both at home and abroad, after finding the performance managementproblem of A corporation, the author puts forward the optimization program based onestablishing KPI through studying on the theory and carries out the feasibilityanalysis. The paper focuses on the technical aspects and explains how to build a newperformance management system from the company level, department level andindividual level. It describes the performance management process of A corporation.I hope this study subject, the formation of organizations and individuals arehighly consistent action target for A textile enterprises, the situation of therequirements of the modern enterprise strategy management mechanism, realize thegood situation of growth of both the enterprise and staff, accelerate state-ownedenterprise performance management improvement and reform play a positive role inpromoting.
