Research On Promoting Employment Under The Background Of New Urbanization

Employment has always been vital to people livelihood since ancient times to nowadays. The brand new concept-"New type of urbanization with Chinese characteristic" showed up as a focus of country and government with the advancement of era. As a diversified concept, New-type urbanization in China will lead the revolution of economy, culture, politics and society, which will influence the situation of employment and it’s a great opportunity to expand the number of employees and transform the structure and promote the employment level which is conductive to socialism with Chinese characteristic and the construction of a harmonious society.In this paper, the theory about urbanization; employment and the relationship between urbanization and employment in depth, besides theoretical connotation of new-type urbanization was explored and summarized. Then the new-type urbanization is found to have positive and negative impact on employment due to some following-ups such as economic growths upgrade and transformation of industrial structure、improve the level of income、technological progreess、green ecology、reform of household registration and equalization of public service. Then come to the conclusion that new-type urbanization will create more employment opportunities after weighing the pros and cons which provide theoretical basis for the research.In order to verify the correctness of qualitative analysis, the paper paid attention to analyze the realistic employment situation and problem finding there are many difficulties such as overall employment pressure, unmatched industry and employment structure, low workers’quality and unemployment of the land-losing farmers. Meanwhile Binary Logistic is built using the real data in China to search the realistic relationship with employment and some typical variables such as GDP, the income, the public service and the proportion of the tertiary industry hoping to offer good and practical ways to promote the employment.To better alleviate the serious situation of the employment and solve the existing problems, combined with relevant experience abroad, many suggestions would be put forward such as leading second industry development、developing the tertiary industry vigorously、supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, improving the training system and realizing the equalization of public service so as to provide the direction for the new-type urbanization construction and rapid growth of employment.
