Study On The Development Of Cold Chain Logistics Industry Of Agricultural Products In Shandong Province

With the development of social economy and the improvement of living standards, people’s requirements for consumer goods have transferred from solving the problem of food and clothing to the pursuit of safety and nutrition. Quality of agricultural products has become increasingly demanding. However, quality problems of agricultural products occur occasionally. In addition to the agricultural products’ own quality problem, these problems partly due to the problems caused by the cold chain logistics links. Huge economic and social losses come into being due to the lack of cold chain logistics and other issues every year. There are many problems to be solved in agricultural products cold chain logistics industry. Therefore, the research on agricultural products cold chain logistics industry is necessary and important. Shandong Province as a province of China’s production and distribution of agricultural products, the development of agricultural products cold chain logistics is still in its infancy. To promote the development of agricultural products cold chain logistics has a great significance on increasing the value of agricultural products, realizing effective connection between production and consumption of agricultural products and guaranteeing food safety.This paper starts from the social realities demand for agricultural products cold chain logistics, treats Shandong’s promoting planning, policy for the development of agricultural products cold chain logistics as background, research with the ultimate goal to develop agricultural products cold chain logistics industry. By learning from the existing research results, the paper gets a systematic review on the development of agricultural products cold chain logistics industry in Shandong Province. This paper reviews the basic theory of agricultural products cold chain logistics, including the connotation, the feature, the mode, the supply chain and so on. It also analyses the current situation of agricultural products cold chain logistics industry in Shandong in resent years, and points out the problems in industry development and their causes. On the basic of learning from foreign experience, the paper finally proposes some suggestions for speeding up Shandong’s development in agricultural products cold chain logistics industry. I hope to be able to provide some useful references to promote the development of Shandong agricultural products cold chain logistics industry through this study.
