Poverty Alleviation Of Agricultural Industrialization In Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture

Poverty is the common eternal theme which human are willing to get rid of. Agriculture is an important part of the national economy, especially for such a large agricultural country. With the development of agriculture in the world, the traditional mode of production is faced with severe challenges. Xiangxi has several ethnic minority with wide distribution of poverty population for a long time. How to alleviate poverty in this area is full of importance. This paper discussing one new way to solve this problem is mainly divided into the following several parts:The first part is an introduction of the poverty characteristics and the main cause of the regional poverty. Though Xiangxi has already made immense improvement after several years of social and economic development, it also has large poor population for various factors. This lead to a common understanding of Xiangxi and raise our attention to get rid of poverty as well. The second part is the summarize introduction for Xiangxi’s anti-poverty in this years after the establish of new China. According to the national policy, this process could be summarized into five stages including various ways to eliminate poverty. Direct Poverty Alleviation, Special Poverty Alleviation and Social Poverty Alleviation are three main modes which has its own advantages and disadvantages. Now, as the’China’s rural poverty alleviation and development program (2011-2020)’issued and began to work, China’s rural poverty alleviation work gradually went to further stage. As a result, the anti-poverty process in Xiangxi is facing a new opportunity now as well.In the long-term development process, the government of Xiangxi actively promote agricultural industrialization and observe one new way to eliminate poverty. Therefore, it can optimize the local resource, change the traditional agriculture mode, speed up the transformation of traditional agriculture to modern agriculture. According to this, Xiangxi changed it’s old way to alleviate poverty to a large extent, casting off poverty and set out on a road to prosperity as soon as possible. As is demonstrated in the paper, the third part illustrates the new anti-poverty method in detail. On the one hand, there are theoretical analysis about organization mode, theoretical basis and operation mechanism for agricultural industrialization. On the other hand, the situation, advantages, results of agricultural industrialization in Xiangxi are also concerned in this paper. When we integrate theory with practice, it could lead a foundation for the spread of agricultural industrialization. In conclusion, agricultural industrialization is one new type for alleviating poverty. Not only could it increase the inner desire to get off poverty, but also bring multiple economics and social benefits. Certainly, there are some security methods needed when applying into the minority areas. At the same time, we need take minority culture and ecological system into consideration.
