Controlled-release potassium chloride slowly release K into the soil, and meet the K demand of the crops, thereby increased fertilizer use efficiency; copper-based nutritional protective agents(CNP) were made through certain processing technology in Shandong Agricultural University, based on the traditional Bordeaux mixture of active ingredients. In the experiment, cucumber and spinach plants were grown in pots under field condition, compared with common urea, controlled-release potassium was applied into soil and plants were sprayed with CNP compared with plants sprayed with Bordeaux mixture of traditional and Kocide2000(KCD). The research was carried out to determine the influence of CNP on preventing plant disease and improving crop yield, at the same time, the interactive effects of CNP and controlled-release potassium chloride on plant growth and soil chemical properties were studied. The main results are as follows:1. The yield of cucumber under treatments of sprayed copper-based nutritional protective agents and applied controlled-release of potassium chloride were significantly increased, and sprayed copper-based nutritional protective agents with boron, zinc treatment was increased by 106.73% and 19.81% compared with sprayed water and Bordeaux mixture of traditional treatments; the yield of cucumber in controlled-release potassium chloride treatment was increased by 26.61% and 6.22%.2. Compared with CK, copper-based nutritional protective agent had good control effect on cucumber Powdery Mildew. At the same time, copper-based nutritional protective agent reduced the copper content in plants in the range of 74.30-89.07%, when compared with BDM(traditional Bordeaux mixture), reduced the copper pollution to the soil, and increased the nutrients for plants.3. The yield of cucumber and spinach was significantly increased by spray of copper-based nutritional protective agents, compared with BDM(traditional Bordeaux mixture), the cucumber yield was increased in the range of 50.20-97.72%, the spinach yield in the range of 9.62-11.60%; and compared with KCD, cucumber yield was increased in the range of 79.34-136.09%, spinach yield in the range of 22.03-24.23%.4. The content of soluble sugar and vitamin C was significantly increased, and the nutritional quality of cucumber and spinach was improved by copper-based nutritional protective agents. Therefore, sprayed copper-based nutritional protective agent on cucumber and spinach, could significantly increase the cucumber and spinach production, quality was improved and occurrence of plant diseases. Meanwhile, the demand of K were met and the fruit yield and nutritional quality was increased, by apply of controlled-release potassium chloride fertilizer.
