Weibei Loess Plateau as the main apple output region of Shaanxi, although with light and heat resources, natural elevation geographical advantage. However, lack of water and soil nutrient thin barren in a certain extent limits its apple development. In recent year, With the implementation of orchard grass planting technology, can effectively improve the orchard soil moisture.But according to the survey, found that in orchard grass practical application, some farmers lack of scientific and reasonable fertilization, relying solely on chemical fertilizers, the using of organic manure for less than half of the total amount of investment, lead to soil nutrient imbalance, so affecting the yield and quality of apple.Therefore, this article focus on effects of combined application of fertilizers on water use efficiency, fruit Yield and quality in orchard under grass covering.Taking the Malus pumila Mil as experiment material, this experiment have two main process:grass covering and cleaning tillage, besides, we set up five different fertilizer treatments as the split treatment. For discussing about the effects of combined application of fertilizers treatment on water use efficiency, fruit Yield and quality in orchard under grass covering. The main conclusions included:1. Grass covering treatment can increase the fruit setting rate of cleaning tillage;In all treatments compared with no fertilization markedly improve fruit setting rate, MNPK and NPK treatments compared to NP treatments differed significantly, increased 38.5%,26.5%, respectively; Grass covering compared with clean tillage, have a certain role in the production of apple production. Grass covered MNPK, NPK, NP, M, less fertilizer CK processing by 61.2%,58.5%,43.5% and 12.8% respectively, with organic and inorganic application can significantly improve the yield of apple. So reasonable fertilization can promote the growth and fruit yield of fruit trees under grass covering2. Balanced fertilization can improve the fruit shape index under grass covering, the grass MNPK increased 2.38% compared with clean tillage MNPK. The M, NPK and MNPK treatment of fruit soluble sugar increased significantly under grass covering, respectively, improve the content of soluble sugar 15.02%,14.62% and 19.20%.Grass covering compared with clean tillage can improve content of fruit VC, significant differences, the M, NPK, MNPK treatment on content of fruit VC compared to CK were increased by 29.6%, 31.3% and 36.5%.3. The content of organic matter in all fertilization treatment were higher than CK under grass covering, the M and MNPK were best, respectively increase 17.89% and 10.87%, beside,the soil available nutrient on grass MNPK is higher than other treatments.4. Grass covering can improve the mature rain volume, compared to the clean tillage. In addition,the contentof water-storage capacity under grass covering higher than that in the clean tillage and the role of grass covering better than fertilizer, different fertilization treatment under grass covering,compared with the control fruit,the yield per hectare yield 23.7%,73.2%, fruit water use rate increased to 14.5%,63.2%, up to 38.6-75.4kg HM mm-1, so the fertilization compared to the control can improve the utilization rate of water, of which organic mixed with inorganic coordination applications is best.5.Analysising the effect of each fertilizer treatment on soil moisture index in the experiment.We found the MNPK treatmnt under grass covering is a good way for Weibei area.
