The Haihe River alluvial plain in Hebei province was selected as the study area inthis paper,from the perspective of regional water resources,and systematically analyzesthe calculation methods of different kinds of losses in irrigationchannels.Then,considering the water requirement laws of different kinds of crop andirrigation measures in the study area,the author deduced the formula about the losscoefficient of irrigation water under different kinds of water-saving irrigationprojects.Finally,according to the equation of the farmland hydrological cycle and waterbalance,the author developed the calculation methods about the amount of water-savingunder different kinds of water-saving irrigation projects with the help of the calculationformula of loss coefficient of irrigation water,and analyzed the amount of water-savingunder different kinds of water-saving irrigation projects in four sub regions of the studyarea.As follows are the main research contents:(1) from the perspective of regionalwater resources,the paper analyzed that the loss of water in the irrigation channelscontains water consumption in the vadose zone态capillary rising water in the infiltrationboundary态soil evaporation and water surface evaporation,and studied the improvedcalculation methods of the four water losses,making the result more realistic.(2)thepaper analyzed the connotation of the traditional water-saving and the realwater-saving,and according to the mechanism of different losses during the wholeirrigation process,deduced the formula of the traditional water-saving and the realwater-saving under different water-saving irrigation projects.(3)considering rainfall datain status quo and irrigation quota before and after taking water-saving measures,thepaper identified the total irrigation quota under different kinds of water-saving measuresbefore and after taking water-saving measures,and calculated the amount of traditionwater-saving in the study area.The result is1987023.7thousand cubic meter in wetyear,1741792.0thousand cubic meter in median water year,1987023.7thousand cubicmeter in1987023.7thousand cubic meter in dry year.(4)the paper analyzed the net irrigating quota under different kinds of water-saving measures in different hydrologicalyear of the four parts,and calculated the loss coefficient of irrigation water underdifferent water-saving measures,and finally applying the real water-saving amountcalculation model,the author calculated the real water-saving amount under differentwater-saving projects in different hydrological year in different parts of the studyarea.The final result is1363923ten thousand cubic meter in wet year,1553591tenthousand cubic meter in median water year, and1730164ten thousand cubic meter indry year.Through the study of this paper,a conclusion is received that different kinds ofwater-saving measures can bring obvious water saving effect and great water-savingamount.This study provides the data support for the development of water-savingprojects in the water shortage area, and at the same time,is meaningful to easing thedeterioration of a region and the contradiction between supply and demand of waterresource.
