Screw,as the main component of extruder,is easily deformed by great force duringextrusion.Furthermore,screw pitch is the important parameter that affects the life of screwand expanding efficiency,on which emphasis should be focused when screw isdesigned.So in this paper,the force of screw was analyzed,flow field for screw was firstput forward and the most optimized size of screw pitch was solved based on virtualtechnology.The major conclusions of this paper were as follows:1.The discharging and adjusting section screw of extruder were the key parts inextruder,whose flow field were analyzed by Workbench in a simulated environment.Itshowed that differences existed in the velocity of material,eddy viscosity,machine borepressure and force of the screw itself among different screw pitches,the optimal size ofdischarging and adjusting section screw pitch were57mm and56mm respectively,whichincreased by2mm and1mm compared with the type of YJP-16.2.The screw and axis of extruder were parameterized by Solidworks secondarydevelopment,in addition,the design process can be simplified using human-computerinteraction interface.3.3D parts virtual assembly and explosive view of extruder were established.what’smore,spiral starting angles of different screw were debugged by virtual assembly.Optimized design of extruder by the flow field was verified feasibility in thispaper.The design cycle can be shorten,the trial cost of traditional design also be reduced,the efficiency of extruder be improved....
