Insect sex pheromone is a synthetic simulation bionic high-tech product. It is made a dosage forms with suitable release carrier,and releases into the fields to trap and kill heterosexual pests. In recent years, using the insect sex pheromone technology to control pests has been used widely. The majority of insect sex pheromone has lower utilization in the process of applying, because of its special features, such as long carbon chain aliphatic compounds, a volatile, poorly water-soluble and oily liquid. Furthermore, it is difficult to control sex pheromone release rate in luring process in the field, which leads to many difficulties to its application. Therefore, the study of a new method to improve the water-soluble sex pheromone, slowing its evaporation rate is important. At the same time, to find a suitable carrier of sex pheromone release dosage form is significant.Supramolecular chemistry is an inter-molecular assembly and molecular bonding chemistry. It is an effective way to build an ordered structure, and its study begins in crown ethers, cryptands and other macromolecules. Recently, the supramolecular chemistry has been enjoyed by reseachers. Cyclodextrin is an important supramolecular chemistry, which has a property that inner can accommodate water-insoluble molecule, and the outer layer can be easily dissolved in water. So, it can improve the water solubility of hydrophobic molecules, while the non-polar molecular interaction also makes the system homogeneous and stable.(1) In this paper, dodecanol and (Z)-8-dodecylene-l-ol acetate (Z8-12:Ac) as major components of sex pheromone of Grapholitha molesta Busck was studied. The inclusion compound of dodecanol with β-CD and Z8-12:Ac with β-CD was prepared by magnetic force agitation and characterized using Thin Layer Chromatogram (TLC),Fourier-transform(IR), Thermogravimetric Analysis(TG) and Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA). The optimal conditions for preparing this inclusion compound were determined. Then, the results showed that inclusion compound could take shape successfully. The concentration of β-CD would be 0.044 g/mL, the ratio of Z8-12:Ac and β-CD would be 0.20:4.00 (g:g), the reaction was carried out at 60℃ for 0.5 h in water.(2) It determined the solubility and dispersion of inclusion compound supramolecular in aqueous by turbidity, analyzed the sex pheromone utilization in the process of making supramolecular and its release by Gas Chromatography. Then, the results indicated that it improved the solubility and dispersion of sex pheromone, when it became into the supramolecular. This inclusion compound supramolecular could be to 0.6420-0.7900(mg.mL-1) and 8.04(mg.mL-1) in aqueous.(3) It analyzed the impact of standing time and pH on inclusion compound dispersion in aqueous, determined the sex pheromone release of supramolecular at different pH condition by Gas Chromatography. It showed that the supramolecular could be to the maximum amount of dispersion, when its standing time is about 24h and pH is larger.(4) It initially prepared ointments and detected lures release of ointments at different times by gas chromatography.
