The harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass is always a problem. The effect of all process is uneven, though there are many kinds of processes of harmless treatment of the dead pig carcass. It is a basic standard to evaluate one process whether it can kill the all kinds of pathogens of dead pigs carcass. However, a scientific method that can assess the effect on the harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass is absent now, Thus a series of studies was carried out to assess the effect on harmless treatment of the dead pig carcass by rapid decomposition of biological fermentation process and build a scientific method to assess all the processes.A questionnaire survey in 157 large-scale swine enterprises in Henan and a field survey in part of animal Health Authority of Cities and counties and in harmless treatment plant of dead pigs carcass were conducted to know the actuality of the harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass. A field survey about major epidemic disease in pigs and the popular rule was conducted in Henan animal disease prevention control Center at the same time. Many problems on the harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass was still existed in reality. For example, the way of processing the dead pigs carcass is backward, harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass ground is lack of in many place, collection and transportation system of dead pigs carcass is not complete. There is a problem that biological safety consciousness is ignored during the process of the dead pigs carcass, in one hand, the task that government supervision take charge of is hard and the power that government supervision is poor. In the other hand, there are many problems in the work of harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass such as poor infrastructure and so on. We find the key control nodes to the biological safety in the process of the harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass, the site and surroundings of harmless treatment plant of dead pigs carcass, storage and collection of dead pigs, the transportation of dead pigs, the flowing of people, the process of harmless treatment, the product of harmless treatment, the equipment and transportation facility of harmless treatment were included in the key control nodes. In order to make sure the dead pigs harmless, the laws and regulations, technical manual, successful story and personal findings were based on to protocol biological safety measures in the process of the harmless treatment of the dead pigs carcass. To evaluate the disposing rusults of the rapid decomposition of biological fermentation process, viral isolation culture, RT-PCR and PCR were used to detect Classical swine fever virus, Porcine circovirus, Pseudorabies virus,Foot and mouth disease virus, Porcine parvovirus, Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus, Transmissible gastroenteritis virus, Porcine epidemic diarrhea virus,Haemophilus parasuis, Streptococcus suis,Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae such 11 kinds of common pathogeny in the disposing fore-and-after samples. At the same time, compare the effecting with the pathogen detection rate of mandatory static compost process. The result shows that the rapid decomposition of biological fermentation process can kill all the checked common pathogenic microorganisms except Classical swine fever virus, the disposing effect is almost harmless. It can affect the disposing effect directly by choosing different zymogen and the length of disposing time.By comparing with the disposing effect of the pathogen detection rate of mandatory static compost process, the rapid decomposition of biological fermentation process is better. And we set up a scientific assessment method of disposing harmlessly in the process of evalating the effection..
